Joan Armatrading – Walk Under Ladders (1981) Vinyl LP

By 1981, Joan Armatrading had already proven herself one of the most distinctive voices in British rock and soul — and Walk Under Ladders is widely regarded as her finest hour. Produced by Steve Lillywhite, the album pulses with tight rhythms, soulful guitar work, and Armatrading’s unmistakable emotional depth. Original pressings in this condition are increasingly hard to find.
