Del Wood – Honky-Tonk Piano (1961) Vinyl LP

Del Wood turned tack-piano ragtime into a Nashville institution. The first woman to sell a million copies of an instrumental record, and a Grand Ole Opry regular for decades, she played with a rolling, percussive left hand that made a piano sound like a whole barrelhouse band. Honky-Tonk Piano is exactly that: rollicking, good-time keyboard music from 1961.
