Chris de Burgh – Crusader (1979) Vinyl LP

Before Lady in Red made him a household name, Chris de Burgh was crafting ambitious, melodic folk-pop with a storyteller’s heart — and Crusader (1979) is one of his finest early efforts. Rich with narrative sweep and de Burgh’s distinctive vocal warmth, this album is a favourite among his dedicated fanbase and a rewarding find for collectors of 1970s British folk-pop.
